Anthropologue avec une spécialisation en traumatisme et en études de génocide. Sa thèse doctorale sur le Rwanda (cotutelle entre l’EHESS et l’université de Zurich) a reçu le Laudatio : « Die ethnographisch ausgezeichnete und poetisch orientierte Studie ist das Resultat einer anspruchsvollen, sorgfältig durchgeführten und reflektierten Feldforschung » /Andrea Grieder’s work is the result of a delicate, meticulous and reflexive field study that has led to an excellent ethnographically and poetically oriented PhD dissertation. She therefore earns the grade of summa cum laude.
